WHEN I DESIGN A HOUSE, I ALWAYS START WITH THE KITCHEN
It is without a doubt, the heart of the home, where everyone wants to gather. It must therefore embody your philosophy for happiness. Is it warm and filled with open shelves displaying stacks of dishes and dog-eared cookbooks? Or is it sleek and uncluttered with only the flourish of a flowering branch, so that the tea you pour yourself becomes a zen-like ritual? Once you figure out the essence of the kitchen, the rest of the house unfolds quite naturally.
